Impact-resistance codes have been established in states like Florida where hurricanes are a seasonal hazard. In order for a door to be designated impact-resistant, it must be subjected to certain stress tests and laboratory-generated hurricane-force winds. Borano is one of the few custom door designers qualified to create impact-resistant doors. Even without impact-resistance certification, Borano's custom double entrance doors are able to provide solid protection and durability. They are made from solid mahogany that is 2 3/8 inches thick, and those with glass panels or inlays are fortified with impact-resistant glass. There really is no door that provides more stability and greater aesthetic appeal than a Borano Honduran mahogany door.
